Marketing & Communications Assistant

Northbank Talent Management, incorporating Northbank Creators and Northbank Speakers, is a fast-growing, full-service agency representing publishing, broadcast, brand partnership, live events and speaking work for our high-profile list of clients.

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, commercially minded team player to join our team as Marketing & Communications Assistant, with responsibility for all of the agency’s content.

Duties comprise:

·       Managing the agency’s social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).

·       Managing the agency’s websites including sourcing and maintaining blog posts, news feed and other content.

·       Promoting the agency’s team members as thought leaders.

·       Organising client, staff and marketing events.

·       Creating and maintaining mailing lists.

·       Creating and sending out regular newsletters.

·       Creating and maintaining client catalogues.

·       Researching new customers and opportunities and keeping database up to date.

·       Following up deals including liaising with licensees re marketing and publicity.

·       Placing stories with the trade press.

·       Devising ways to win new business through marketing.

The successful candidate will be:

·       A confident, resilient, exceptionally well organised self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

·       An excellent copywriter (written exercises will be set at interview stage).

·       Fluent across all social media channels from TikTok to LinkedIn.

·       Fully conversant with content creation tools such as Canva, Wordpress and Mailchimp.

·       Across and ahead of trends, from popular culture to politics.

·       Fascinated by the changing media landscape, and the opportunities which it offers our clients.

·       Ambitious. We’re growing quickly, and the role offers opportunity for progression.
