LOCALISATION SERVICES

DMS delivers a full range of adaptation and localisation services to major film studios across the globe from its central London base. Our services include subtitling, dubbing, editing, colour-grading and visual effects for promotional materials to support worldwide feature film releases for use in cinema and online.

 

THE ROLE

We are seeking for a highly skilled second line support analyst who will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills whilst collaborating, organising and maintaining key elements of DMS’s infrastructure, all ensure stable operation and growth. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting and optimising key functional areas (Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Storage, Backup Strategies, Disaster Recovery and Telecom systems) within our London Bridge HQ, Shand Street

This person will maintain The DMS’s infrastructure and mixed server estate which includes Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and VMs. Working as part of the Infrastructure, Networking and Security team, focusing on core aspects of both internal and client IT systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide day-to day operational and technical support to end users.
  • Maintain the Windows Active Directory, DNS, 0365, File Service, DHCP, SharePoint & One drive.
  • Handle hardware and software setup, configuration, testing, and support.
  • Provide 2nd level support for any issues regarding IT systems.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of network infrastructure & IT equipment in the server room.
  • Provide PC setup and liaise with the system suppliers.
  • Experience with MacOS.
  • Apply server patching and security updates for the IT systems.
  • Provide support for the IP camera, video conferencing and telephone systems.
  • Provide support for motion graphics workflows.
