Job Description

Full Time: 40 hours per week, Mondays – Fridays, 9.30am – 6pm with an hour unpaid lunch

Salary: depending on experience

Contract: fixed term contract until February 2023

Start Date: End of July/Early August 2022

Location: Gas Ferry Road Studios, Bristol (some remote working - to be agreed)

The VFX department is responsible for shot clean up and prep, creating 2D and 3D FX, digital matte painting and final composites of various elements from multiple sources to deliver shots for approval.

The VFX Lead coordinates the team of composite artists in order to maintain efficient work flow and high-quality shot delivery as directed. They are often the interface between the director and the VFX team.

 We’re looking for an expert in Nuke with excellent Adobe CS skills and Python knowledge. An understanding of professional pipelines is essential and a thorough knowledge of working in 3D environments to deliver 3D and 2D composites.

 As VFX Lead you will be need to be able to identify and communicate problems with a composition and/or consistency in the style across a range of shots from different artists. You will need to be well organised, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and be able to take direction in a collaborative and fast paced production environment.
