A bit about DTV
DTV Group started in 2004 and is still owned and run by the founders. We work with 30+ NGOs and iNGOs - the big and the not so big – in over 25 countries, covering a wide range of causes from animal (WAP, Cat’s Protection, PDSA, WWF), to development (UNICEF, UNHCR, Concern) to medical (Sightsavers, Alzheimer’s Research, Marie Curie) as well as a handful of commercial clients.
Our core business: we are direct marketing fundraisers who help NGOs acquire new donors through direct response television and digital video. We use film to help to inspire current donors to continue to keep giving. We work with media agencies to help NGOs manage response effectively and deliver the best approach possible.
DTV London is our HQ, we also have offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, Seoul, Vienna and New Delhi, serving our International NGO's who are based around the globe.
You’ll become a vital part of our newly formed Digital fundraising team and build strong relationships with our clients, and across every area of DTV, especially Producers, Media and our Creative department.
What are we looking for?
You will be an edit assistant with 2/3 years’ experience at a post-production house. Someone who shares our values and brings the skills and experience to get stuck in straightaway.
You will join a friendly and supportive in-house postproduction team, working across all stages of the edit from ingest to delivery alongside our Online Editor. This is an important role within the creative studio that will require you to take ownership of media management, workflow and delivery, making sure all postproduction processes and tasks run efficiently.
There will also be opportunities to get involved in offline editing, online editing, colour grading, adapting ads for international territories, and training on Flame.
What skills will you need to shine?
And what will you get out of this?
Being part of the DTV Group is a friendly, supportive and exciting place to be. We’re growing and extending our offering around the globe and into the digital space by creating and delivering other types of film and video.
There is always lots to learn, and you’ll be up to speed quickly with our support. You’ll enjoy fairly flexible working hours, very generous holidays including the much-loved DTV Long-weekends (one Friday off per month). Lots of team socials which endeavour to respect your life outside work.
We’re mostly working remotely at the moment, but as soon as it’s safe, we’re really looking forward to seeing each other in the office 2-3 times per week.
DTV is dog-friendly to say the least. Visit our Instagram to meet all our furry friends @dogsofdtv and you can also find us humans @whateverinspires.dtv
We’re delighted to offer this opportunity to be part of not just a fast-growing agency in an exciting market, but an agency that is a world leader in DRTV and digital fundraising.
To apply, send your CV and covering letter to jobs@dtvgroup.co.uk. Please make sure only to include mobile number in your CV and cover letter removing any identifiers such as name, date of birth and email address, which will be forwarded to the relevant hiring manager.
DTV is committed to providing an inclusive and creative environment for everyone to thrive, whatever our background or identity. We enjoy an ongoing and inspiring program of events to celebrate diversity and difference and ensure all our managers are trained in overcoming unconscious bias.
