Based in our Watford office, the SI Design Engineer will stay abreast of new technologies and innovation and ensure that these developments are reflected in our proposal strategy. The SI Design Engineer will ensure that our clients view us as a forward thinking and innovative brand, with particular focus on being renowned as experts in our field.


  • To assist with the development of proposals for systems integration
  • Design and build broadcast systems for internal systems integration and external projects
  • Work alongside the projects engineer to help develop/train their IP skills
  • Assist the managing director with the development of the technical strategy
  • To develop and work in collaboration with key suppliers to understand their technological roadmap.
  • Generate designs for systems integration and project primarily, using auto cad and visio
  • Construct detailed and accurate wiring schedules
  • Oversee the build and test process of any designs, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and ensure the department remains innovative


Adhering to our company H&S policy and ensuring that all company risk assessments are observed where applicable to your role, taking ownership of improvements and escalating concerns where necessary.


Contribute to the continual improvement of our management systems to ensure compliance with our legal obligations and maintain certification.


  • Engineering Degree, or equivalent


  • Solid planning and organisational skills
  • Work effectively as a member of the Projects team
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time outside of the UK


  • 5 years’ experience as a Broadcast Engineer
  • Highly proficient with Autocad and Visio
  • Microsoft office and Excel skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong Understanding of broadcast hardware
