We have an rare and exciting opportunity within Broadcasting to join the Studio Operations team as a Studio Manager.
Job Description Details
As Studio Manager you will be responsible for delivering a high quality and consistent output of work from the Studio Operational teams, ensuring successful execution of all studio productions both live and pre-recorded.
With a strong focus on leadership, you will be responsible for leading by example, setting strategic direction for your reporting lines and making sure the live and pre-recorded daily schedule flow. Ultimately you will be accountable for the Studio Show execution, including overall team output and performance, with a strong emphasis on staff development and talent management. You will also be an excellent communicator who is able to share key business information with the department and provide clear direction for the leaders within your function, in line with the departmental and organisational strategy.
Working closely with the Senior Manager of Studio Operations and the Director of Broadcasting on current team information as well as process improvements that have been reviewed and implemented, with an emphasis on continuing the fresh and innovative thinking that is a business priority as well as a forward focus approach to our decision making.
You will need to have experience of working in live broadcast studios, with strong Leadership skills and extensive and varied experience of leading and developing a team.
