Head of Cameras: We are looking for an experienced Camera Operator to join our team as Head of Cameras as we prepare to launch Talk TV in 2022. This role will be a senior position and will oversee all aspects of our camera team and operation across a range of prime time shows including the new Piers Morgan global news and current affairs show.
As a senior member for the News UK Broadcast team:
You will work closely with the Head of studio output, senior directors and rest of the team to support the creative vision of the production
You will be responsible for all the camera planning across all of our sites
Be the lead and oversee the work of all camera crew in the studio ensuring the highest standards are met
Liaise with internal and external suppliers and contractors to ensure our work complies with industry safety standards
Advise on the best and most cost efficient ways to achieve the creative vision
Train junior members of the team when required
What we are looking for from you: In order to be successful in this role:
You will be a highly skilled studio Camera Operator
You will have a wealth of experience working on live multicam studio shows
You will be a highly skilled ped op
Ideally you would have knowledge of AR studios and how cameras integrate within them
Ideally you would have experience in Jib operation
An expert level knowledge on the latest camera technology and kit

The channel will also deliver documentaries, entertainment and sports shows and proper hourly news bulletins. Piers Morgan, one of the most recognisable broadcasters in the world, is the first signing for talkTV and will deliver a primetime show which promises to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews. Drawing together world-class talent across News UK, talkTV will be broadcast from state-of-the-art studios at The News Building in London Bridge and available live or on-demand, on linear and connected TV and on any personal device.
