Job Description

Four8 is a small, focused and super charged production team and we’re looking for a development producer to work with us on our content as we devise our programme for the coming year.   Reporting to the Creative Producer, you will have the scope to devise new formats for a range of platforms aimed at 18-34 year olds. 

Our content is devised to share the Christian message but is not directed at a Christian audience but at all millennials and Gen Z.  This is an amazing opportunity to:

  • Engage an audience with messages that are important to them: equality; human rights; to accept people unlike themselves; to bring about positive change 
  • Develop fresh content that is based on stories that everyone knows, whether this is the Nativity via Tik Tok, or I am Pilate at Easter.

  • Working with our Creative Director and Production Executive to create content strands and overall platform strategies.
  • The Development Producer will be responsible for progressing projects from original ideas through to commission and production.
  • Developing good working relationships and knowledge of agents and their clients and pro-actively pursuing projects with them as appropriate; and also with casting experts and contributors
  • Produce taster tapes and writing pitch documents.
  • Working with the Creative Producer and the Production Management team to help create budgets and schedules for projects.


  • A track record of developing digital and broadcast content for our target demographic
  • A demonstrable interest in different genres and an awareness of material currently in development and potential gaps.
  • Experience in writing high quality pitch documents and development reports
  • Track record in casting experts and contributors is highly desirable.
  • Experience of handling confidential and/or controversial information with tact and sensitivity.
  • Senior experience working across short form digital campaigns, this can be across scripted, non-scripted or branded film
