Role Overview:

 

This is a high profile client facing role, supporting and implementing a sales and client management strategy for one of the UK’s leading TV and film studio facilities.  Reporting to the General Manager, Elstree Studios, the Client Liaison and Sales Manager is responsible for client sales, B2B outreach and day-to day client liaison during production on the lot that is currently the home of The Crown, Strictly Come Dancing and The Voice.  He/she is responsible for commercial sales, day-to-day operational client liaison and oversight of facility bookings along with ensuring delivery of any contracted services.

Client Liaison

  • Deep knowledge of a studio and/or production process
  • Highly client focused with the ability to orchestrate the highest quality of client service delivery
  • Effective communicator as the ‘first point of contact’ for all clients as well as a liaison between internal teams and clients
  • Highly organised role utilising effective IT systems and planning tools

 

Commercial Sales

  • Negotiates effectively to manage studio capacity, maximise occupancy and financial return to meet KPI goals
  • Manages a cost-efficient annual marketing budget that can drive sales with a good understanding of financial management
  • Builds, develops and maintains business network to promote studio occupancy and take-up of production/studio services
  • Manages and maintains long-term client relationships, customer satisfaction and returning business

Person Specification

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a client/sales facing role in a TV/film studio or post-production facility company
  • Demonstrable understanding of the TV & film production process
  • Ability to support and execute complex contract and commercial negotiations
  • Deep understanding of the changing media landscape
  • Demonstrable experience of current and forward looking B2B marketing strategies
  • Developed professional network across the TV & film production industry
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed numeracy and IT skills
  • Can work independently and as a collaborative team member
