About the role:

The job holder will be responsible for leading the Media IO team.

 

The Media IO Coordinator will be responsible for liaising with Post Production Managers, Bookings Coordinators and Operational leads, while also being the go-to person for all Media IO related tasks. 

 

What the day job will probably look like:

  • Work with the Scheduling, Operational and Coordination teams to ensure work is processed through the building on time and to the highest standards.
  • Recruitment, development and training of the staff within the team.
  • Monitoring the workload in the assigned areas and ensuring that preparations for future projects are put in place, which involves working closely with the Sales and the IT/Engineering support team.
  • Dealing with internal and external client enquiries via phone, email or in person.
  • Testing and rolling out of new kit and workflow to meet client/project specific delivery specifications.
  • Liaising with the IT and Engineering team with onboarding new clients and assessing storage requirements.
  • Gain an understanding of the project in advance by liaising – and attending meetings - with the Sales team, the Post Production Manager, relevant Molinare technical staff and relevant members of the production.
  • Assist the Post Production team and scheduling teams to make sure resources are utilised correctly.

 

About you:

  • A thorough understanding of post-production workflow and film post-production technology.
  • Previous experience in a high-end post-production facility is an advantage.
  • Experience in industry delivery methods, archival workflows and understanding the implications of decisions and action on the workflow.
  • Experience within a Dailies environment as well as systems and kit beneficial.
  • Previous roles which involved managing and developing team members is preferred.
