We are looking for a talented and experienced Studio Manager who can take on the task of overseeing the smooth running of our busy studios.
Here at Marjan TV Network as well creating a plethora of in house and commissioned programmes we invest in licensing a large variety of programmes from some of the biggest distributors and programme providers.
Manoto TV, our flagship channel, presents the very best in fresh and original Persian language programming, broadcasting daily from London via satellite to over 40 million viewers across Europe and the Middle East.
Whilst our programming is Persian-language, our day-to-day working language is English.
Reporting to the Head of Studio Production you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day running of the studios and crew, including preparing staff rotas and sending out daily call sheets, plus booking freelance studio/gallery crew and make-up artists.
You will ensure Health and Safety is being adhered to, addressing any maintenance issues in the studios/greenrooms/dressing rooms.
In addition, you will help to prepare budgets/spreadsheets for studio related costings and be involved in recruitment, as well as assisting in staff training schedules/bookings.
This is a busy and important role so you will need at least 2 years’ experience in similar role, a full understanding of the gallery workflows and procedures, the industry terminology used in a control and studio environment and knowledge of how a studio works, the equipment and related professions,
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as are your organisational skills and attention to detail.
