About the team

 

The Cambridge Roku TV team develops TVs for multiple countries around the world, working with our partner factories and brands to manufacture, launch and support TVs in production.  We also support our customers for the lifetime of their TV, to ensure they have a great experience using their Roku TV.  The team currently consists of three New Product teams in Cambridge, we’re also building an engineering team in our Taiwan office to help us scale faster.

We are seeking a Senior Software Program Manager, supporting multiple New Product teams in our Cambridge office.  You will be responsible for managing projects, from scoping, execution and delivery of products & features, in close collaboration with teams in Cambridge and many other teams across Roku.

 

The ideal candidate will have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver and self-starter who can drive programs with the product and commercial teams within Roku and across external strategic partner organizations. The successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Using a variety of tools to create, track and report on Software Programs
  • Understanding technical details to enable effective prioritisation and scoping
  • Handling multiple concurrent projects with a high level of detail and organisation
  • Communicating effectively using excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working cross-functionality with employees from many different roles across the company

 

We’re excited if you have

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Project management training, covering key requirements for effective project management
  • 5+ years of software program management for embedded/consumer products
  • Solid understanding and experience of different product development lifecycles
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year
