Role Profile

As a Team Lead providing cover for 12 months in Arqiva’s 24/7 MCR based in Feltham, you’ll be critical to driving Arqiva’s media/broadcast team of 11 Engineers ranging in skills from 1st/2nd Line Support. You’ll be expected to help define best practices, coaching of existing recruits and also hiring new junior and experienced Engineers.


  • Lead a 24/7 operational team delivering Customer and network availability to service performance expectations
  • Lead team performance and productivity to achieve the required function and customer outcomes.
  • Deliver Service Management principles (ITIL) in Operation Centres achieving high levels of customers satisfaction, delivering contractual service availability, with high quality customer service through timely verbal and written interactions as specified.
  • Manage team operations ensuring day to day management of a 24/7 operational shift team
  • Champion and manage continuous improvement opportunities across the team to deliver efficiency for process, system, people and operating costs
  • Act as a point of escalation for operational engineers providing guidance and instructions for the operational team, expectations to support operational shift cover as required
  • Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Arqiva Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information and Arqiva assets



Must Haves


  • • Proven management experience of or similar leadership role
  • MCR Engineering Background



Might haves:


• Working understanding of ITIL

• Awareness of Lean Principles White/Yellow belts

  • Location: Arqiva MCR - Feltham
  • Salary/package: Up to £45,000
  • 5% Bonus (dependent on performance)
