Scope, Waveform & Audio monitoring.QC of After Effects projects to determine suitability for adaptation. Encoding/Transcoding files using Adobe Media Encoder to client specs. Standards conversions .Overall responsibility for the technical quality of files created for distribution. Manage the life cycle of assets from ingestion to the archiving of projects . Provide mentoring/advice to junior/trainee members of the team.

The role of MCR operator is to support the Head of MCR and MCR Supervisors in all the operations within the MCR department across Creative Content, Versioning and Adaption.
Requirements
Solid experience in an MCR capacity in a post-production facility and/or agency. Strong knowledge of broadcast QC and delivery specifications. Excellent understanding of compression, codecs, formats and deliverables. Strong encoding experience. A firm understanding of camera codecs, rushes ingest and workflow. Excellent social platform knowledge from creative best practice to latest updates on formats and specs, across multiple platforms.Working knowledge of Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. Experience of using Davinci Resolve for prepping assets for edit and grade. . A firm understanding of camera codecs, rushes ingest and workflow. Previous on-set experience as a DIT desirable.
