Film Distributors' Association Ltd. (FDA) is the trade body for theatrical film distributors in the UK - the companies that release films for UK  cinema audiences.

FDA is a voice for UK film distribution.

 

We represent a distribution stance in regular representations to and consultations with the BFI, the government and other trade organisations in the film industry. We are also a passionate advocate of distributors' pivotal role in the well-being of the whole film economy.

D o you love movies and the big screen experience?  Do you want to explore a career working to bring films to UK audiences?   Call for trainees to take up paid training opportunities in the UK film industry. The film industry’s Distribution Training scheme funded by UK film trade body, FDA,  returns for 2025.  The only scheme of its kind, the programme offers a 9 month paid work placement internship with a UK distributor.   What makes you go to see a particular film?
